Terms of Sale and Refund Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026 · Version: 3.0

Company being incorporated. These conditions govern subscriptions and digital offers purchased on sapiverse.com. They supplement the Terms of Use; the Privacy Policy explains data processing.

Before purchasing: check included features, total amount, billing period, any trial, first charge date, and automatic renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; withdrawal and remedies for a nonconforming service are separate rights.

1. Parties and contractual validity

The Service is provided by Sapiverse S.r.l., a limited liability company being incorporated, based in Italy (hereinafter “Sapiverse” or the “Company”). Under Article 2331 of the Italian Civil Code, the company being incorporated may enter into contracts and collect payments in anticipation of registration; the founding partners act in the name and on behalf of the Company, assuming joint and several liability until the process is completed.

Contractual relationships will continue without interruption upon registration in the Companies Register. For formal communications, write to support@sapiverse.com.

Provisional address for communications: Milan (MI), postal code 20100, at the founding partners’ address. The full address is provided on request for official notices and remains valid until the company is registered.

2. Purpose and requirements

The purchase grants access to the chosen plan’s features for the agreed period. New subscribers can choose the Star plan, billed monthly or annually, alongside Free access. Existing legacy subscriptions retain their own terms. Materials, videos and resources are available where published and according to the offer’s features; no academic qualification is sold and no exam result is guaranteed.

You need a valid account, an Internet connection and an up-to-date compatible browser. The PWA does not require a native application but does not guarantee offline use. Downloads are permitted only through the provided features and for personal use as governed by the Terms.

The purchaser must be an adult authorized to make the purchase and use the payment method. Use by a minor requires the involvement of a person with parental responsibility, in accordance with the law and Terms of Use.

3. Prices, duration and content of the offer

The applicable price, currency, taxes due and renewal interval are those communicated before order confirmation. Prices intended for consumers include applicable taxes. No additional costs are due unless disclosed and validly accepted.

The duration is stated in the summary in days or months: a calendar month is not necessarily 30 days. An equivalent monthly amount used to compare offers does not mean that a multimonth plan is charged in monthly installments. The applicable amount is the total due for the period, clearly stated before the order.

If the offer presentation and checkout do not match, stop the purchase and contact support. A presentation error does not authorize unilateral application of more burdensome terms. Keep the summary and confirmations you receive.

4. Purchase and activation procedure

Once you choose a plan, the service redirects you to Stripe Checkout for confirmation and payment. Before confirming, you can check the details and leave the process. An order with an obligation to pay must be clearly identified as such.

The contract is concluded upon confirmation of subscription activation following successful completion of the procedure, including the start of a trial where applicable. An immediate charge is not required if the offer includes a free trial. Access depends on confirmation of subscription status; if activation is delayed or fails, contact support without unnecessarily repeating the purchase.

Contract confirmation and the required information must be provided on a durable medium, such as an email that can be retained. Merely making an editable web page available does not replace this confirmation. If you do not receive the documentation, request it at support@sapiverse.com.

5. Trials, promotions and rewards

The following are distinct:

Eligibility for trials and rewards may depend on account history and the initiative’s conditions. The end of a trial does not reduce mandatory legal rights.

6. Renewal, cancellation and plan changes

Recurring subscriptions renew for the stated period unless canceled. You can stop renewal through subscription management, which opens the Stripe portal, or request help at support@sapiverse.com. Cancellation reasons are optional and must not prevent access to cancellation.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; access already paid for remains available until expiry, subject to other remedies requested or legitimate service restrictions. Cancellation before renewal incurs no penalty. If you encounter an error, promptly report your request and keep a record of the communication.

In the cases provided for in Article 65-bis of the Italian Consumer Code, the consumer must receive notice of expiry and the option to cancel thirty days before the deadline. If the required notice is not given, the right to withdraw free of charge remains until the next contract expiry.

Deleting the app from your device or deleting your account is not the procedure for canceling your subscription: manage renewal first or contact support. This distinction does not limit the validity of an unambiguous termination request received by support or your refund rights.

Where available, plan changes, reactivation and period changes are confirmed with the corresponding amounts, adjustments and effective date before the operation. It is not assumed that all changes take effect immediately or are always deferred until expiry.

7. Consumer right of withdrawal

If you purchase as a consumer, you may withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason, unless a specific exception validly applies. If information on withdrawal is omitted, the statutory extensions to the deadline remain applicable.

Accessing the platform, starting to study, and simply accepting the Terms do not automatically result in loss of the right of withdrawal. For services begun at your express request before the deadline, only the proportionate amount permitted by law may be due, provided the required information and conditions have been met. Loss of the right of withdrawal for a fully performed service requires the statutory conditions and does not coincide with first access to an ongoing subscription.

For any digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the exception requires, where applicable, prior express consent to start supply during the withdrawal period, acknowledgment of the loss of the right and confirmation on a durable medium. Without these conditions, no presumed waiver is asserted. Conditions concerning digital content do not automatically extend to the entire subscription service.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, send an unequivocal statement to support@sapiverse.com within the deadline. You may use this optional form:

This channel does not limit the right to use the online withdrawal function provided for in Article 54-bis of the Italian Consumer Code, which is distinct from canceling renewal, or other means permitted by law.

To Sapiverse, at the email address shown on this page.
I hereby give notice of withdrawal from the contract for: [plan/service].
Date the contract was concluded: [date].
Consumer’s first and last name: [first and last name].
Consumer’s address: [address].
Account email or order reference: [reference].
Date of notice: [date].
Consumer’s signature, only if the form is submitted on paper.

In the event of valid withdrawal, amounts due are refunded without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of notification, using the same payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, at no cost to the consumer. The time before the refund appears also depends on the intermediary. Only deductions permitted by law for services expressly requested and properly documented remain applicable.

8. Commercial refund policy

In addition to your legal rights, you may submit a reasoned request for a commercial refund within 3 days of purchase, specifying your account and plan. Support assesses the circumstances and use of the service: heavy use, such as many completed activities or substantial use of available materials, may lead to rejection of the commercial request. This discretionary assessment applies only to the additional benefit: it does not apply to valid withdrawal, lack of conformity or other refunds required by law.

Approved commercial refunds are initiated through Stripe; the credit normally takes 5–10 business days, depending on the payment network. Consumers are not charged refund fees for exercising their legal rights.

Only for commercial refunds not required by law, the offer may provide for deduction of transaction costs actually incurred and not recoverable, if lawful and if the amount is communicated before the offer is accepted. No automatic deduction applies to mandatory refunds or contrary to more favorable terms already agreed.

Simply canceling renewal does not, by itself, entitle you to a proportional refund for a period correctly supplied and already paid for. Withdrawal, conformity, failure to supply and all other applicable remedies remain unaffected.

9. Conformity, failure to supply and updates

Consumers are entitled to a digital service that conforms to the contract under Articles 135-octies et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, including necessary updates. For continuous supplies, conformity must be maintained throughout the contractual period.

If there is a defect, you may request that conformity be restored free of charge within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, and in any event within 30 days of the report as an additional service commitment. This period does not require you to wait where the law allows an immediate remedy. In cases provided for by law, including failure to restore conformity or a serious or repeated defect, you may obtain a proportionate price reduction or termination with a refund. Failure to supply is subject to the remedies provided for breach of the obligation to supply.

Service changes beyond those necessary for conformity are subject to the reasons and safeguards set out in the Terms. If a change negatively affects access or use to more than a minor extent, you may terminate free of charge within 30 days of receiving the information or of the change, whichever is later, unless you are allowed to retain the unmodified conforming version at no cost in the cases provided by law.

Report the issue to support with a description and, if useful, images containing no confidential data. No disclaimer concerning academic results limits these rights.

In the event of withdrawal or termination, you may ask support to retrieve the content other than personal data that you have provided or created, free of charge, within a reasonable time and in a commonly used machine-readable format, in the cases and subject to the exceptions provided by law. Personal data is instead subject to the rights described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Payments, invoicing and price changes

Stripe handles payment and may require authentication, payment method verification or fraud checks. Sapiverse receives the identifiers and events needed to manage the subscription in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Disputed or failed payments are checked; any restrictions must comply with the law and must not prevent legitimate disputes.

For requests concerning tax documentation, contact support and provide the necessary details. The issuance obligations and deadlines under applicable rules remain in effect: a Stripe receipt does not automatically replace every tax requirement.

Price changes in new offers do not retroactively change a purchased period. Proposed changes to an active subscription require at least 30 days’ notice on a durable medium, stating the effective date and the option to stop renewal before the change applies; express acceptance is requested where necessary. More favorable agreed terms and mandatory protections remain applicable.

11. Interruptions, liability and support

For extended malfunctions lasting more than 48 consecutive hours, you may still request a proportionate free extension of the access period. This is an additional protection, not a minimum threshold for exercising statutory remedies.

The liability limitations in the Terms do not exclude willful misconduct, gross negligence, mandatory liability or consumer rights. A Beta program or promotion does not remove these protections.

Send complaints and requests to support@sapiverse.com. A response is expected within 5 business days, unless the nature of the request or the law requires a different period; this response does not suspend withdrawal or refund deadlines.

12. Applicable law, disputes and updates

Italian law applies without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections applicable in the consumer’s country of habitual residence. Mandatory jurisdiction rules apply to consumers; for professional users, the courts of Milan have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.

The European ODR platform is no longer operational. Alternative dispute resolution bodies can be found on the European Commission portal; this reference does not entail mandatory participation in any particular body or limit access to the courts.

Revisions to these conditions do not retroactively change orders. Proposed changes to ongoing relationships are communicated at least 15 days in advance, without prejudice to the 30-day notice for price changes, longer applicable periods and urgent exceptions provided in the Terms. More favorable conditions already validly granted to the user remain effective.
