1. Cookies and other device storage
Cookies are small pieces of data that the browser stores and sends to the site with subsequent requests. The service also uses browser storage: local storage keeps information between visits, session storage supports navigation within a tab, and Cache Storage allows the PWA to reuse downloaded resources. Rules on tracking technologies depend not only on the technology’s name but also on its purpose.
Technologies strictly necessary to transmit a communication or provide an expressly requested feature do not require consent. For nonessential technologies, consent must precede activation and may be withdrawn.
2. Preferences and consent
The panel lets you accept, reject, or customize optional categories. The available categories are analytics, marketing, and personalization. You can reopen the panel through Cookie preferences. Refusal does not prevent access to features that do not require the refused technologies.
Browsing, scrolling a page, accepting the Terms and purchasing a plan do not constitute consent to tracking. A category appearing in the panel does not mean that a particular provider is active on every page. Promotional email preferences are managed separately.
3. Service cookies

These cookies support operation and record choices. A cookie’s expiry does not necessarily match the retention period for server data or the storage described in the next section.
4. Local storage, session storage and PWA
- Cookie preferences: a copy is kept in local storage under the key
cttConsent_v1. Local storage does not automatically expire after 180 days and may remain until removed or replaced; to fully reset your choice, use the reset option in the panel or also delete the site’s data from your browser. - Interface preferences: theme, audio, volume, haptic feedback, tool settings, and notices already shown may remain in local storage until changed, cleared by the service, or deleted from the browser.
- Session continuity: temporary data for opening exercises and assessments, switching between materials, navigation state, and friend and notification panels may be kept in session storage. They normally end with the tab’s session, taking the browser’s restoration features into account.
- PWA installation and resources: the device may remember the launch mode and dismissal of the installation prompt. The cache stores static resources such as images, fonts, styles, and scripts; it is updated with service versions or deleted through browser tools.
- Feedback requests: local indicators remember whether and when a request has already been shown or completed to manage its frequency.
Storage needed for a requested feature is used for that feature. Any additional analytics or promotional purposes require the legal conditions to be met and do not become necessary simply because they use local storage. Deleting your account or uninstalling the PWA icon does not guarantee removal of all site data from your browser.
5. Analytics, marketing and Google Consent Mode
The preference manager communicates Google Consent Mode signals for analytics and advertising, initially set to denied. These signals are instructions for integrations: they are not a Google Analytics cookie and do not, on their own, prove that Google Analytics, Google Ads or Google Tag Manager are loaded.
This notice does not attribute unverified cookies, identifiers or durations to those products. New nonessential tools must not be activated before specific information on the provider, purpose and duration is provided and consent is collected where required. The rewarded-ad system for additional help is not currently available.
6. Videos, Google sign-in, payments and external resources
YouTube. Some pages may embed videos or load their player. Loading them involves communications with Google/YouTube, which may receive technical data such as IP address, browser, and referring page and use its own technologies. “Privacy-enhanced” mode, when used, does not mean that no processing occurs. Content subject to optional preferences must respect your choice before activation; if content remains blocked, you can change that preference without accepting all categories.
Google login. When you choose Google sign-in, you interact with the provider’s authentication service. Technologies necessary for this requested feature are separate from any advertising uses.
Stripe. Checkout and subscription management involve accessing Stripe services, which use cookies and other technologies for payment, authentication, and fraud prevention. Information about the provider’s technologies is available in Stripe’s Cookie Policy.
Fonts and CDNs. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts and graphic or software resources from external CDNs, including Cloudflare and jsDelivr. These requests may share technical data with the respective providers even without setting cookies. Refusing optional cookies therefore does not necessarily prevent every external connection.

7. Changes, withdrawal and deletion
You can change your choice through Cookie preferences. Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not make processing previously carried out with valid consent unlawful. Changing your preference does not necessarily remove cookies already set by third parties: you can remove them in your browser settings.
To also remove the saved preferences and other storage, use your browser’s function to delete all site data, not just cookies. This may sign you out, reset settings and require resources to be downloaded again. Browsers also let you restrict third-party cookies and other storage.

8. Updates and rights
Significant changes to technologies or purposes require this notice to be updated and, where necessary, a new choice to be made. You can exercise your privacy rights and lodge a complaint as described in the Privacy Policy.
The applicable references are the GDPR, Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code, and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools.
